When you request a report or subscribe: your name, email address, home ZIP code, mobile number (optional), the markets you want research on, your typical investment size and timeline, the asset types you follow, whether you describe yourself as an accredited investor, and your email and text-message choices. We also record how you reached the form (for example, the campaign tags in the link) and whether you open or click our emails.
To send what you asked for; to send research by email if you opted in; to send text messages if you opted in; and to understand which markets our readers care about. Your ZIP code is converted to a metro area and used only in aggregate.
Aggregate, anonymised market data — for example, how many readers in a metro area follow a given market. We publish a figure only when at least ten readers are in the group. Your name and contact details are never shared with any sponsor, developer, or third party. We do not sell or rent personal information.
We use service providers to run our forms, email, text messages and database — for example our CRM and cloud hosting. They process your information only on our instructions and may not use it for their own purposes.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted.
